A Steemian Minnow Update

Hello my fellow minnows I've decided to give an update of my progress to date. I'm sure there are quite a few new people who have joined Steemit recently. Those who have been on for a bit might be frustrated as to what is really happening with this site.

Let's start out with some basics. This information on my progress is so that you may compare it to other "minnow" data.
Different people have joined for different reasons but I believe a good majority have joined for personal financial gain. I am one of those individuals (and help others along my journey.)

http://steemb.com/ is a tool where not only can you check your own stats but also of anyone using steemit. Type the name of the steemian without "@"in the upper left hand box. It gives a nice breakdown. It might be a bit confusing at first but eventually the stats start to make sense. Below is a list of everything I have "written" that has generated $$$.

From Dec 17th 2016 to Feb 4th with 31 post , is what I've built my steemit account to date.
Fellow minnows feel free to look at my old posts and "upvote", "resteem" or "comment" on any of these old posts. Remember as a community we can build our steemit accounts up if we help one another...uhhh minnowsunite...helllloooo.

Bits of advice: * Write what you know about or post something that you are passionate about. Don't try to become a writer if you are not (this would take some time) instead try posting a video instead. It does makes your posts more personable. (I will be doing this in the near future.)

*I believe that every post that I've written is golden... unfortunately not all steemians agree. Hence the feeling of frustration which will lead you to want to give up. DO NOT GIVE UP! Just keep at it.
I wrote a post on how I feel what should happen everytime I make a post on steemit.

Unfortunately the whales in the video aren't @ned or @dantheman.

I'm also currently sitting at 93 followers and am close to reaching 100. I feel that I am heading on the right track and persistance has definitely been the key.
