Minnows Bible #5 - Proof of the Power of Commenting and how to use it to get as many Followers As you want

I was reading a post from one of my favourite steemians, @taskmaster4450. He did an exercise and recorded a reward of $230 in just 7 days just from commenting alone. The amount was gotten after converting both the SBD and the SP into its equivalent in $$$.

Admittedly like he also mentioned, he might have slight advantage of

• a reputation of 66 means people might to be more receptive to his comments.
• he has built relationships with people who will want to give him some big upvotes based on that.

After saying all that, a great comment is a great comment whether it is coming from a minnow or whale. Of course the difference in levels of the commenters might mean some difference in level of rewards.

Comparing a good post to a good comment is another way to look at it.
A good post that resonates with a good numbers of steemians will likely take you up to an average of 2hours and 30 minutes or more to come up with while you can come up with a bad ass comment that might have the same effect in less than 10 minutes.

You can now imagine how many of such you can come up with in 2 hours.

When commenting on other people's post, you have a 'ready made' audience, the poster most likely have followers who are interested in what you are saying.

Again, at the beginning of your Steemit journey with small number of followers. Focus more on producing interesting comments for more rewards and followers than creating posts.

The trick to getting as many followers as you want.

1. Head over to Steemit home page i.e steemit.com/@yourname/feed

2. Click on new, then click on #introduceyourself

3. Then you have a feed of new posts from newly registered users mostly below 30 reputation.

4. Upvote and comment on this introductory posts randomly or those that you feel connected to.

5. Make sure you leave reasonable comments that are related to the posts.

6. Leave a link to a post or posts that the newbies will found invaluable.

7. Most of these new users will follow you just by receiving upvotes from. Leaving a comment will be an extra motivation for them to follow you.

8. Do this as much as you can and get as many followers as you want.
