MANGO obtains juices and a great variety of desserts, the most common dessert that is made in Venezuela with this fruit is MANGO JELLY, which is made with green fruit, it is very easy to make, this is the recipe:
10 Units of Green Mango
750 Grams of Sugar (3¾ Cups) or Papelón
2 teaspoons of lemon juice
preparation:
Place water in a pot with the mangoes and let them boil for 20 minutes.
After this time, the pot is removed from the fire. When they have cooled to room temperature, all the pulp is extracted from the fruit.
Next, the mango pulp is placed in the pot without water and mixed with sugar or paper and lemon juice, cooked over high heat and stirring with a wooden spoon until the mixture sticks to the spoon. lift it, this process can take about 12 minutes.
Once the mixture has the correct texture, it can be emptied into a previously moistened glass mold and allowed to cool.
This mango jelly can be used to decorate or fill biscuits or to accompany cookies, you can eat it with everything.

Me enamoré del mango sólo al probarlo aquí. Los venezolanos si tienen esa ventaja de comer el mango sin conservantes y disfrutar de todas sus propiedades. En mi país debido al clima no se da el mango, y la fruta importada sabe a jabón, lamentablemente.
