Almost nobody see and almost nobody cares about my posts! Why?

Just a few short questions (with some answers) and the fact that I am seriously considering powering down and leaving Steemit.

I upvote and resteem a lot of posts and sometimes comment under them. I have 322 followers, but almost no one see and almost no one cares about my posts. Something isn't right with Steemit. The developers should improve the visibility of the posts.

Latest example

I submitted a post yesterday: Drawings, paintings and photos published on Steemit during the last few days - Original Steemit Content Recommendations #1.

I collected some original content from the site from the previous days and I wrote recommendations for them. I formatted the post. I worked on the post for 30-60 minutes, but I almost got nothing in return.
There are 2 views on the post. There are 3 upvotes on the post. One is my own upvote and the 2 other upvotes are from bots.
I wrote a comment under the post asking the featured artists/authors in the posts, but still no reply and no views.
Why almost nobody see my posts while I have more than 300 followers?
Why nobody cares about my posts?
You can see my activity on Steemd.
I upvoted a lot of posts and most of my posts this week are resteems.
I rarely trying to write a blog post nowadays, because nobody cares about my posts.
I am tired of the ignorant and selfish people on Steemit!

Even when I receive a comment under my posts, it's either a "follow me" spam comment or a meaningless "two words" comment, where the comment authors are often upvote their own "two words" comment with $1, while they completely ignore my post and my post have less than $0.10 potential earnings! Why people are so selfish here???

Some people wondering why the Steem price is going down (or not going up), while Bitcoin is going up...

Well.. Here are the answers! Because this site is full of selfish people who doesn't care about other people's content.
Because of the people who wrote a meaningless "two words" comment under someone else's post and upvote their own comment with $1 (or more), while completely ignores the original post and the original post have less than $0.10 potential earnings.
Because of the big amount of inequality on this site. Most of the people are struggling to earn a few cents per post like me, while others are earning $10+, $100+, $500+ or even $1000+ on a single post!

If this ignorance thing continues, I am going to power down and leave Steemit. Okay, I have only 133.277 STEEM in Steem Power, so If I power down, that's probably won't affect the price of Steem. But if a lot of people do this, then that will!

Like it or not, this is the truth about this site.
I wonder if it's visible to anyone...

I have to say, you have way more than I. I have not looked at your other posts as I have only just seen this one. I have posted 80 times and have $9.14. The thing is - I don't care. I don't post at a set time every day and I don't engage in the chats and group discussions, so I don't expect to get anything back. I am doing it for fun not money. My son @mobbs also does it for fun but has earned $2000+ simply because he's done research, connects and gets involved - well not simply because - he's a damned good writer too. I think you have to put the hours in connecting and researching if you want to get money out of it. Write what people want to read and talk to people. It's been successful for a few of my followers who started when I did. You can tell I don't get too involved as I've fallen behind. Its a preference, I prefer to paint. Hope that helps.

Okay. You are doing it for fun. I understand. But I can't do it for fun or anything else nowadays. Especially not for money.
I'm still trying, but where is the fun, if your post is completely ignored?
No upvotes, no comments, no anything else. Just the complete/pure ignorance.
Sorry, but this is not fun.
Especially when you put 30-60 or more minutes to write a post.
I call this time wasting. That's more accurate.

It's sad you're not getting anything. I don't get a lot but each of my posts has at least 3 votes and a couple more views - one or two have more. As I said, I'm not fussed. Especially at the moment as my art stuff is packed for moving I have little to kill time with. Perhaps it's not the forum for you.
Have you tried sharing to twitter etc? Is it your tags? I don't know - I'll ask my son - he's a whizz at this already.

I don't use other social networks. The classic social network sites (especially the Facebook) are pointless/meaningless for me.
I live with autism spectrum disorder (and other disabilities) and because of this (these), I don't have (I never had) real life friends and I am unable to work. Maybe these kind of things are really not for me.

One of my last posts have some (3) upvotes and the potential payout is $0.05, but there are no comments under the post, except one bot comment.

I will probably give up writing blog posts and go on with commenting other people's posts or just simply upvoting and resteeming other people's posts. Or just write blog posts for myself.

That has many factors, it even depends in wich time did you post and when are the most of your followers active, what kind of content.. it has some little tips that means fortune in difference and you also need to give a lot to community and upvote others get involved in discussions and etc.

I get the feeling. Its hard to get people read and upvote your posts nowadays. It seems people are scared to get the upvote power going down. They do not even take the time to read the posts and get you a useful comment, maybe even start a discussion about the topic you wrote. I hope you will feel better by reading this, my advise is to keep posting and maybe try to get some sort of specific topic and expand it in a 'series' like topic. I would also like to suggest to be positive while commenting and posting, some steemians seems to be very hard about negative posts/comments. I hope you stay around. @OriginalWorks

Steemit is just like high school. It's a popularity contest. If you want upvotes, you have to research what posts are paying out the most and then do much the same thing. It's unfortunate. Your photos are quite impressive. But the people here at Steemit are mostly into the cryptocurrancy angle and will just gloss over your posts. Steemit is just a slice of life. It's hierarchical. The rich (whales) get richer while the rest of us provide content and try to get by. It's all about contributing to the community. But you have to give the community what it wants. You can't sell hotdogs to a vegetarian.

I'm new here. I've been scoping the place out before I commit. Like you, I'm going to post things that are meaningful to me. If I'm well received I will continue down that path. If I'm not, I'll try a different approach. Ted Guisel, the famous Dr. Seuss tried many things before he became a children's book writer. One of his axioms about life was "If at first you don't succeed, try something else." Here I am. Trying something else. Don't give up. Steem on!

Steemit can be frustrating. Some days it seems the more time you spend creating content, the less you earn. I have noticed recently though that I am earning more through curration and commenting than I am with my posts. It's been a hit and miss with me... but I will press on Never give up!

I'll follow you!
