It’s the season of the Trumpet Tree blooms.
This is the local variety – quite different from the Tumpet Flower I came across in Spain. (below)
This is also the local version of ‘Sakura’.
When they bloomed, the whole tree is covered with flowers making it a beautiful sight. After a day or two, the flowers fell steadily to the ground through the day. Quite another sight to behold. And all is over within a week – sometimes less.

howdy sir Vincent! haha! what a grand site that must be to see all of those flowers falling off of those Trumpet trees! I love that, I would be spending my time walking around where those trees are just to be in the middle of all those flowers falling down, lol.
Ya'll have some wonderful trees over there, especially this time of year huh? great post sir Vincent, just beautiful!

It is a lovely sight indeed, watching the falling flowers. Because of the shape of the flowers, they don't just drop off, the come spiraling down.
We are near the equator, so our weather is more or less the same throughout the year - between 24 - 34 degrees Centigrade. :-)
