Remember, going after DEI isn't just about going after minorities.

It's specifically about going after and undermining and delegitimizing minority achievement. In the case of Black Americans, it is specifically about going after Black excellence.

They're not just doing it because it's effective. They're doing it because it makes them feel good.

It's a way of viewing the world that allows mediocre white people to feel superior to high achieving non-white people.

It's a form of white supremacy that claims not just that white achievement surpasses non-white achievement, but that white mediocrity surpasses non-white achievement.
