As mentioned in my previous post, in order to reduce spamming I'll be writing a single post for each phase of the competition. The Quarter Finals will run over two days, and I'll update this post each day.
This post was updated with the final results of the round on 2/28. Scroll to the end to see the updated bracket!
By now you know how to reach me with questions or comments, if for whatever reason you don't know how, feel free to comment below. Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this (or for participating!).
At this point I hope to build a proper UI to reduce the amount of manual work and to run another competition (with prizes), but odds are we will have the official app before I could get that together. We'll see what the future holds.
But enough delay, the results are below.
Quarter Finals Part One
Every team played at least the first two games. The two players who contacted me in advance will have the chance to further tweak their teams before I run the rest of the five game series.
While the players and crunch data haven't changed much, you can find the latest version here.

The Averagers VS Rusty Kuntz
3 - 1
The first two games were close and I had high expectations for the RK. Unfortunately Home Field was not an advantage for them, and the Averagers took the rest of the series.

Surface2AirMissile VS The Reds
3 - 0
Surface2AirMissile continued to dominate their opponents. At this point I expect them to go all the way.

Moe VS Pointshark
0 -2
Moe is one of the teams which contacted me before games were run. They didn't submit any changes, but due to their level of activity I wanted to give them a chance to adjust their lineup before game 3.

Macho Man Randy Poffo VS San Juan Luke Dogs
1 - 1
The MMRP team has one again been tweaked.
- Michael Brantley replaced Juan Soto in Left Field
- The Batting lineup has been adjusted.

Quarter Finals Part Two
We had two pairings left to run, one which was a tie and another which was a one sided affair. Both games ended up running the full five game series. I look forward to seeing how the winners do in the Semi Finals.

Moe VS Pointshark
3 - 2
Moe swapped out two players this time.
- Left Field Swap: Michael Brantley (SN 231563) replaced Marcell Ozuna.
- Catcher Swap: Mitch Garver (SN 212207) replaced Austin Romine.
Apparently this was the right choice because Moe went on to dominate the rest of the series!

Macho Man Randy Poffo VS San Juan Luke Dogs
2 - 3
MMRP didn't make any changes this time, and the series was give and take. In the 5th game the Dogs pulled ahead though and will advance to the next round. It seems like they had just enough of an edge to stay ahead. Based on the end result, the final game would have been great to see live!

It was an exciting series of matches! I look forward to what the semi finals hold. I am currently planning on running those Friday or Saturday.
