Mom Life

I know for me to get up and actually take my kids to school takes all the will power in the world, and trust me I don’t look like a beauty queen when I do it nor do I smell like a peach. I see these other moms all put together and I’m wondering how do they do that?! I throw my hair up, barely brush my teeth, put on some sweat pants maybe shoes if I’m lucky and drag my feet out the door. Now when it comes to picking my kid up from school I see these moms jumping for joy and hear things like: “oh I’ve missed you so much.”, “how was your day sweetheart.” whilst smothering them in hugs and kisses. I think to myself sure you act like that in public and when you get home that’s when it gets real! Believe me I love my kids and I would do anything for them, but sometimes you want to keep them at school for a couple more hours.
