Monomad Patterned Tiles

Monomad Floor Tiles

I photographed these tiles in the entrance to one of our local Victorian houses.

You may recognise them from one of my Wednesday Walk posts where I posted them in colour.

Since the pattern is strong and there is a lot of detail in the lines I thought it would work well in black and white.

So here it is as my entry to @brumest's monomad contest.

Very nice in mono :) some reason this reminds me of an old Italian restaurant in NY. just that vibe. Loud room with tile. Tables with table clothes.

That's a fun creative one @steven-patrick. I get the Italy thing but it reminds me more of Romans ruins. 😊

This is beautiful and look nice in B & W !

Thank you @joetunex. Thanks for visiting. 😊

You are welcome

How lovely! Is this outdoors? Or under a porch roof? Such beautiful tile work!

It's outdoors @melinda010100 on a pathway to the front door.

If you look at this post it shows an example of the sort of house it is. 😊

Thanks. I guess I was intent on looking at the patterns in your first post and didn't focus I on the walkway! I want my entry to look like that! It might not hold up to a snow shovel and ice melt though!

Fortunately we don't get much of that around here @melinda010100 and some of the tiles have survived since Victorian times so i doesn't seem to be too much of a problem. 😊

Hi @gillianpearce, I'm @checky ! While checking the mentions made in this post I found out that @monchromes doesn't exist on Steem. Maybe you made a typo ?
