Why YouTube is demonetizing everybody?

Hello, everybody as we all know 2017 wasn't the best year for YouTubers with even a little bit if a controversy.Well,YouTube is nowadays not what it used to be it probably is because YouTube wants to earn more money,if you upload a video it might get demonetized but if you delete it and re-upload it,there are 80% chances you're getting monetized
