the day I held unto cash

you may not necessarily like cash,
but think about this for a few seconds:
you're holding money in your left hand,
you wonder,
where has this money been?
who has used it?
was this ever part of some stolen money?
did someone use this to commit a crime?
did some have to die because of this single note in my hands?
who has used it?
how many people has this money passed through before?
have I come across this note before?
even if I didn't use it,
have I been close to it?
or maybe just drive past it?
or could I have walked past someone holding it?
I know germs spread quickly
But how many types of germs have entered and left this piece of paper?
Maybe a googol or a billion googol.
who produced this single bill?
and how many fraction of the materials were used in the production?
for sure, only God knows.
maybe a mathematician might guess the answer,
or an economist,
and maybe the answer is worth knowing.
maybe then you'll know,
that you think a lot.
