Good advice. There are some humidifiers that are made to be safe in case you have kids around. Also, if your child is sick, you might want a humidifier in the bedroom or something. Also, I wonder if anybody has compared energy use of a warming teapot vs. a new humidifier. Anyway, these are just some thoughts, but I liked the point of your post.
