Every year, a lot of youths graduate from schools with an old-fashioned mindset about money.
The traditional believe has always been go to school, obtain high grades so that you can secure a high paying job. The mindset has always been to gain financial security rather than to gain financial freedom.
In the industrial age, gaining financial security was a great idea, but right now, things have changed. There no more save and secured jobs anywhere now. Therefore, our youths must be aware of this fact.
We are now in information and communication age. The age where anyone in any part of the world can reach out to anyone or any group of people in any part of the world.
This means that, with the aid of the internet, any business owner can market his/her product or services via the internet, thus having a global reach. Most of the limitations and financial constraints of starting up a business are gone.
It is high time our youths gets the right information from schools and hit the ground running immediately after graduating. This will help to reduce the massive rate of unemployment in most countries.
With the advent of Steemit, anyone anywhere can startup right away on the internet and start earning using their creativity.
I long to see a future where every young graduate is productive and financially free.
We can all be rich, if we can all produce something valuable.
