Thanks @eturnerx for replying, and just a reminder to others who read this, it can take up to 24 hours for your new MAXUV balance to show up as upvotes. This is not because we have very slow computers, but just a safety measure to avoid gaming the system. On the plus side, there is no unstaking of MAXUV tokens at the end.

If I buy new tokens do those tokens need to wait 24 hrs too? Yesterday I had about 100 tokens and I received a total upvote of 0.006. And today I have 2,000 tokens and only received an upvote of 0.015. I expected to have at least an upvote of 0.12 with having 20x tokens compared to yesterday

Hi, yes, every purchase needs to wait for processing - otherwise is far too easy to use the same tokens multiple times in one day by posting then transferring to alts. It just replaces the unstaking period of many other tokens, but takes place at the start instead of at the end.
I just had a look for you and your new purchase hasn't been added yet. Must be soon :-)
BTW are your numbers in $ or STEEM? Also, don't forget that votes come from six accounts.

I also just did a quick check on actual upvotes going out, and for the full 2000 tokens a recent post received about 0.763 STEEM worth of votes. So I assume your numbers are $, so at 17 cents that comes to $0.13, as you expected, although the blockchain price is still around 21 cents so will be more in $.

Yep those numbers are in USD amounts. I added the totals from the different account to get total upvote. But ok, I just added those additional 1900 tokens yesterday so they should be done with processing today! Thanks!

I had a further look for you, just in case the cronjob failed and the purchase was only about 10 hours ago! So may feel like "yesterday" but was not so long ago in hours. Don't worry, I nurse these programs at their start just to make sure everything is working :-)
