Gold Could Be a Zero Per Cent Credit Risk-Weighted Asset Under Basel III.

in money •  4 years ago

We have looked deeper into the Basel III rules and all the talk of Tier 1 "asset" and have come to the conclusion that the term Tier 1 or 2 is only used when referred to a banks capital and not its assets.

So gold like any other asset under Basel III is not a Tier 1 or 2 asset but Risk-Weighted Assets or RWAs.

The inevitability of embracing #iso20022 assets in one's portfolio becomes apparent, crucial for evading reliance on #cbdc, which exercises undue control. The anticipation of #blackswans emerging beyond 2024 amuses me, blamed conveniently on wars orchestrated by persistently re-elected Western officials, despite their base's apparent opposition. Curious, isn't it? Could this be a rigged system? Perhaps it's time to implement a cryptographic voting system, relegating these outdated leaders to the discard pile they rightfully belong in.
