Make mony online

in money •  7 years ago

Technology has managed to weave its way into every single aspect of our society, and we happen to think that’s a great thing. Like them or not, everyone knows the Kardashian family. Why? Because they have mastered the art of the social media world by quickly gaining the status of being influencers. Since their reach is wide and powerful, brands simply can’t resist them which has ultimately given them the capability to become successful across all platforms.

While the spotlight might not be for everyone, you can easily tap into the endless opportunities the online world has to offer. And by opportunities we mean money. The easiest way to get started? Creating your own stunning website, of course!

Here are 10 ways you can make money online:

  1. Design websites

Whether it’s something you have professional experience in or you’re just a natural talent, designing websites can be an excellent source of income. Allow your creativity to help small businesses, friends and family increase their online presence. It’s easy to design websites with Wix, however, it does require a certain amount of time and an eye for design. That’s exactly where you come in. Is web design something you’re really passionate about? Consider becoming aWix ambassador.

  1. Write a blog

Not really into designing? Maybe writing is more your thing. If so, you should start a blog. It’s easier than ever, in fact, the hardest part is deciding which beautiful template you want to use. The wonderful thing about blogging is that you can write about absolutely anything. Anything that people would be interested in reading, that is. After some time, your blog will attract an audience and similar users that share the same interests as you. Once your blog starts to take off, that will be the perfect time to collaborate with your favorite blogging pal! Guest writing for each other is a great way for both of you to widen your audiences.

You’ll start to rake in some cash when you’ve established yourself as an online influencer. How exactly? Your blog will be prestigious real estate for your niche advertisers.

  1. Write and sell an eBook

If blogging piqued your interest, then you just might have a passion for writing; creative writing. You should consider writing and selling an eBook. Whatever your choice of topic may be, use your eBook as a tool to tell your story, share your tips or words of wisdom. You could also extend your blog into an awesome eBook; we guarantee your fans will be excited. Thanks to the internet, you can skip those nerve-wracking pitch meetings with intimidating publishing houses. Get started by checking out ouramazing writing templates.

  1. Give your opinion. Get rewarded.

It may seem far out, but there are some companies that will pay you just for trying out a product or reviewing goods or services. Crazy, right? Well, it’s true and it can be very profitable for you. Check out companies like User Testing as an example. Credibility goes a long way in the online world which means brands are willing to pay a lot of money for your honest opinion.

  1. Sell your things

We all have that bag under the bed. You know what we’re talking about. It’s full of clothes you don’t wear anymore, your lego collection and your original Barbies. You may have outgrown them but they are still too precious to toss out onto the street. Why not free up some space and make some decent money? Two birds, one stone. Just take some pics, determine the asking price and watch the offers come rolling in. Are you more of the creator (than a hoarder)? You can sell your crafty items that you make on your very own eCommerce site.

  1. Sell your photos

If you’re a professional photographer (or even an amateur!) why not capitalize on your Wix Pro Gallery by selling your photos online? It may take some promotion and a little bit of patience, but being that the work is done for you, all you have to do is collect your payments.

In addition, companies like Shutterstock,iStockPhoto and Shutterfly will be more than willing to make use of your creative snaps.

  1. Create video tutorials

If photographs aren’t your thing, maybe videos are. Vlogging, or video blogging, is all the rage right now.Starting a YouTube channel where you either review products or offer tutorials is another great way to make some money. You may require some editing skills (and good lighting), but once you’ve got a decent following you’ll slowly start to see the dough. How exactly does this work? Well, the more subscribers you have, the more likely it is that companies will send you products to review or pay you in exchange for product placement. You can also showcase and sell your videos on your website by using Wix Videos.

  1. Provide personal teaching

Got a knack for numbers? Or perhaps you’re gifted enough to know multiple languages. Why not use these skills to your advantage and make some extra pocket money? You can create a website advertising your services and method of teaching. Depending on your students’ preferences, you can assist them online through Skype or Google Hangouts. This way, your costs are very low and your accessibility to a variety of different people is high. Prefer a more personal experience? Advertise yourself in your area, setting up a common place to meet like a local cafe. To increase your level of professionality (and organization skills) while keeping your customers happy, you can incorporate Wix Bookings onto your site. The online booking system allows your customers to schedule appointments directly on your site while also accepting payment online.

  1. Rent out your home

You can learn a thing or two from Airbnb. A simple way to bring in the big bucks is through short term rentals. Everyone has that fortunate neighbor that jets off somewhere warmer for the winter. Why not partner up with them? It’s the perfect situation – your neighbor makes some extra cash while they’re gone and you collect a commission along the way. It’s a win-win really.

Be it an apartment, a guest room, or even just a pull-out couch, you can turn these spaces into a money-making machine! It’s all about finding the right contacts. With Wix Hotels you can create a listing of the place, manage bookings, accept payments (commission free, of course) and better yet, allow guests to book in their own language. Bonjour!

  1. Become an affiliate marketer

Simply put, affiliate marketing is when a company advertises, through banners or links, on your page or website. If someone clicks through and eventually buys the product or service, you get a cut of the sale. Sounds good, right? Whichever avenue you may choose from the list above as your source of income, there’s a possibility to earn some cash through affiliate links. By the way, did you know that Wix has its own affiliate program? Check it out, we promise it’s worth it.

A good list here. There are a lot of free ebooks out there on many of these topics too if you check out a site like kebooks.com has free kindle books every once in a while. Otherwise, youtube tutorials and communities like warriorforum are good places to learn more. I think it's definitely key to either focus on one of the aforementioned or steadily try and attempt them all. You can never learn enough on these subjects, and at the end of the day who doesn't want to earn money passively?
