Having Money Doesn't Make You a Capitalist

I just want to clarify an important concept.

Wealth has existed ever since man became man and stopped being an ape. Money existed way before Capitalism was even conceived. So no, there's no such thing as "State Capitalism" or whatever prefix you want to add to it. There's only one form of Capitalism and that's Free Market Capitalism. Capitalism is not Capitalism whenever the market is not free, because then it becomes controlled by a government and the point of Capitalism (using Capital to create wealth and value) is destroyed. All forms of control over the market relate to the State. Thus, saying stuff like "State Capitalism" is an easily avoidable confusion.

But it seems that people confuse having money with being a Capitalist. And that's how people come to accuse socialist and communist tyrants of being Capitalists.

I just want to bring that confusion to an end because it's offensive to Capitalism and in an era of decentralized currency people must know what they are dealing with. A tyrant holding millions in BTC will not be less of a communist tyrant for being rich on blood money.

The opposite is also true. Being poor doesn't make you a communist.
