Just the amount of silver in earths crust is way higher than gold. But demand makes the price, if the industry needs more silver in the future it's price might get way higher.

True. I actually used to think that silver would be more expensive than gold one day but I doubt it now. I think we may see a 2:1 ratio in gold's favor, and we all might believe the value of silver to be higher than gold, but as far as price goes? Really doubt it :)

Surpass? That's asking a lot. I'mjust a casual observer in this field, but I have never heard of a time in history that silver had one up on gold.
If the powers that be suddenly start trying to restrict access to silver though, that will be a clue that something's going on...
