Money is commodified unit of energy. Work is the use of energy. Energy cannot be created or destroyed. Energy is charging and discharging. Energy accumulates, flows, channeled, stored, transformed, exchanged, distributed, shared, manipulated, utilized, abused, weaponized, traded, bartered, whatnot... without energy there is no money, no economy which is coming and going of energy, would it be in the form of food, sunlight, rest to give us a charge or various activities of survival and procreation to spend it.
Being alive is work, being well is work, taking care of family is work, relationships is work, staying out of trouble with the law is work, taking care of business is work. Every human activity is work, the use of energy. It may be well used energy or not yielding different results. Some work benefits few while other many. Some work translates into a public good whilst other may not and be even to the detriment of others, against public interest. Just because someone makes lots of money does not necessarily translates into a common good to reiterate the point.
That is the problem of the capitalist system that it puts private profits ahead of the public interests while providing no representation nor platform for social safety and common needs because the people are seen as commodified collateral assets against whose work, shares, and income the borrowing is done leaving population in debt while all the money and spending thereof is done by a small oligarchy of shadowy elites.
Any society, as a systems analyst, can be reduced to a single unit which is a family, thus the dynamics of healthy family, how it gains and shares energy in symbiotic manner, everyone gets according to their needs, kids old sick et al, thats communism for you. Then everyone also gets to keep proportionally to their contribution, that's socialism in play, then everyone has their own room, belongings, bathroom time, privacy and spending / activities, personal preferences etc, that's capitalism of free market economy in practice. So the whole spectrum of economic models thus can be observed working as one and complete socioeconomic system.
The West is sinking in debts, laws, status, standards, inflation, the cities are full of drugs, high crime rates, high prison population, crumbling infrastructure, the people are angry, depressed, apathetic, crazy, poor, sick and tired, many are spirituality bankrupt and confused, lost really, large segment is demonically possessed, and ever increasingly zombified. While in the rest of the world by now the governments increasingly are doing their best to represent the collective interests of their people, in the West the governments are the biggest enemy of the people and the sad thing is that most people know it and stay the hell away from it to the best of their abilities. So that will have to change is the West ever hopes to join the rest of the world which is changing exponentially fast. God Speed. Amen
