Rain can't put a 'damper' on the festival for this cheerful Mom. We live in the rain, we are raised in the rain. We don't stop because of the rain. We love it and we embrace it. It feeds our food and the life that we love. Bring on the rain!

The one word "rain" in the heading compelled me to click on this posting. I have always loved rain, rainy days, thunderstorms and such. And living in India and Southeast Asia, I even love the drenching 4-day long monsoon rains.

Sun is nice, but without rain, life would be pretty dull. Probably "impossibly" dull. And impossible.

Let it rain, rain, rain.

I couldn't agree more. I haven't experienced big rain in India but I know it can be very intense. Yes, rain is life! I live in a rain forest and it is my most favorite place to be.
