Full Moon in Aries tonight

Tonight's Harvest Moon will rise around sunset, and therefore, is expected to be a little bit bigger and a little bit brighter. It is traditionally called a Harvest Moon because it gives farmers a little extra light to harvest their crops.

Astrologically, this bright moon is rising in the firey sign of Aries. Fire is the element of initiation, catalyst, and the energy to DO.

We are being called forth to use our fire energy, and rather allowing anger to move us, channeling our fire to go forward and make a positive change either in our personal lives or in our communities.

With the intense political climate, natural disasters, and tragic events as of late, it is normal to feel some anger and frustration coming on under this firey moon, but we are being asked to move this anger to create positive firey action and blaze new paths in our communities.
