The new paper, Classification and Staging of Morgellons Disease: Lessons from Syphilis, introduces a structure for physicians to distinguish the condition in their patient population. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7012249/

Most notably, this study demonstrates biofilm colonies https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7012249/figure/F0005/, and intracellular infection resulting in the Morgellons filaments https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7012249/figure/F0007/.

Is this data finally sufficient to legitimize the disease and result in widespread acceptance? One prominent Dermatologist, and leading Psoriasis expert, Dr. Steve Feldman says only if the CDC recognizes the condition first.
