This would seem to be true @thebigsweed, I wish that I would have the chance to experience such as this.
But alas, at 64, having wasted the best, healthiest years of my life in pointless and harmful chasing after addictions, and all the relationships I had were based around mutual using in support of those addictions.
Round about way of saying: "I'm old, fat and ugly now, no one wants to be a part of my life" 😞

The way we choose to live our lives does have a accumulative effect. I truly feel that it is never too late to find some peace of mind and to pick one's self off of the mat and begin again.
It seems to me that you have found some reason to continue your journey, and you really never know what the future may bring.
