"Ornery Rhinoceros Morning" a sonnet

Just awoke, still groggy, a bit grumpy.

First coffee heading into my system.
Shouldn’t start the day like this; all ‘frumpy’.
I will be better soon; I’ll be jumping.

Sadly, sometimes my mornings are like this,
It’s difficult hard to climb out of the rut.
I must try hard, so chances I don’t miss;
To let my love for others shine and strut.

The point of this, if one can be found;
Please don’t let the grumpiness continue,
Today, don’t let it follow you around.
Let sunshine, love and caring surround you.

Do not carry around your grumpy bone;
Leave the Ornery Rhinoceros at home.
