Companion, babysitter, teacher, sister, best friend, and most especially, a mother. She is all that to me. I couldn't imagine what would be my life looks like if she will not be with me. She was with me during the ups and downs of my life. She was there ready to catch me in times that I fell and failed to do my duty properly. She lifted me up in times that I got feel weak and gave me strength. She is not just a mother, she is also my nanny, the most precious nanny that nothing in this world could be compared to her. Even golds and diamonds are not enough compared to how valuable she is. She is my everything. The root of what I am today.
She is my shelter, she is my light, she was the one who guided me in my entire journey. If it's not because of her, I would've been lost already, because of her, I managed to find my true identity and helped me discover what I really am capable of.Because of her, I learned to fight, I learned to face my fear and overcome it. I still remember the time that I joined a school competition. The competition was held kilometers away from home. It was my first time to be not with her for a couple of days. I still remembered how it felt every night sleeping alone. I missed her warm hugs, her sweet kisses and her magical words. Every morning, I couldn't take off my eyes to the phone waiting for her call. She was my inspiration the whole time.My heart was filled with so much happiness when she cried upon receiving the medal.Oh, how I love her so much.
But what really broke my heart was when iIsaw her crying. She was crying not because she was happy, but because of too many problems and burdens that she's been carrying. But despite that situation, she still never forgets her duty to me as a mother. She tried to show me how strong she was to stand up for me. My mother was the most influential person in my life. She was the one who takes good care of me. She was the one who taught me everything I need to know. It was her voice that I first heard in my childhood days. She was the one who told me everything about the world that I live in. She was my everything.
