I know what failure feels like. That feeling when you think you are not good at anything, and you just don't care about anything because you don't find your purpose in life. The hardest times are not what we want to, but they are in fact, necessary. The most difficult times are the ones when we usually learn the most, and give us strength to keep moving forward. The most important thing about hard times, is not to pass them as soon as possible, but to really understand what is happening and try to deal with it the best we can, always with hope. The best advice I can give you when you feel like you are not satisfied with who you are, is to accept yourself the way you are, but not in a conformist way, instead, always accepting your limitations but trying to overcome them because the only person that is capable of helping yourself is YOU.
Once in a while is good to think about your own thoughts, because they usually guide you in this path known as life. You should let your emotions guide you but not never control you, because you are strong enough to keep going, no matter the circumstances, results or people that surround you. I think that what really make us alive sometimes is to feel the pain that life throw us, because it is in that pain when we usually learn how valuable are the things we never valued enough, but now we do, because we enjoy them as never before.
You will find that the things that matter most don't ever come from easy tasks, but actually from actions we repeat consistently over time, to realize the great power that has discipline in our lives. Once you decide you want to do something, don't hesitate, and with courage, take that step, because it's gonna be easier than you think, you are gonna be stronger and you are going to realize that your potential is much higher than you at first expected.
Stay strong.
Cheers
