The availability of good quality resources is a very important aspect of online business. It is very easy for a new business to get lost in the sea of so many marketers out there, especially with the recent downturn in the economy. When you are just starting out on the internet, you need to be aware of how important it is to have good quality resources to help you make money. You cannot afford to compromise the quality of these resources, because the people who use them will also determine the success or failure of your site. Here are some ideas to consider when it comes to finding good quality resources.


The first place that I would look for good quality information is on the internet itself. Search the topic of your choice using the search engines such as Yahoo! MSN and Google. If the searches come up with many results, you may be in for a treat because you may be in for a surprise.

The best way for me to search for such quality assessment tools is through the different Open Access journals (OAI Repository) and the MSN library. OAI Repository is a database of the Open Access journals that are published by the twenty leading research universities in the world. MSN library is a database of the more than one billion Internet books. The availability of these resources is truly vast, and you can easily access e.g. the bibliography of the book by Noora Rockey, just by going to the MSN library.

There is also another advantage that you can take advantage of: the availability of good pedagogy resources over the web. Many individuals make their own business model with open access content and services. For instance, a person can create a website in order to offer quality assessment tools for learning. He may then train his own learners via a series of videos.

Of course, this is only one example of an individual making his own business. Another example is the founding of the Open Source University, Stanford, which later became Stanford University. The origin of this school lies in a grant awarded by Bill Stanford, who is a professor at Stanford University. The Open Source University later became Stanford Edsitors (a kind of school for professionals). The main goal of the establishment of this university was to provide quality and open resources for the people and institutions involved in the Stanford School of Engineering.

Many institutions, organizations and companies have used the quality assessment tools as a tool for educational purposes. One common use is for the corporate sector, where high-quality instructional materials are needed.
