A NOTE TO MY MILLENNIAL FRIENDS ON STEEMIT PLATFORM

Humanity is a divine brand which successive generations of man has sought to manipulate for selfish ends. Those efforts consistently end up in vanity because in the end, man reverts to his default social setting by all means. The methods may have changed many times over, the objectives of doing things remain the same. Regardless of our view of competing cultural trends, the fundamental objectives of human efforts remain constant.

We hate to be in want that’s why we strive to control resources.

We fear domination that’s why we seek to control others.

Fortunately, man invented writing so he could painstakingly document his substantial and imaginative experiences. In the core of these efforts is the fundamental of all- CONTROL. Man writes so he could preserve his knowledge of the nature and methods of control.

My dear millennia friend if you can read what has been written, you’ll successfully master the art of that fundamental; the art of control.

They call that thing book.

The champions and heroes on whose behalf you marshal forces against your own destiny knows this fact too well. That’s the reason they place so many distractions on your way. Wherever it is possible, they build walls to obscure your vision.

They distract you with entertainment, glitter and pageantry. They exploit your dreams and emotions to construct forlorn hopes. They combat you on multiple fronts and manage to convince you that your destiny ought to be lost in theirs. They hijack the skills of your fellows-in-suffering and repackage them for sale to you via several outlets. The outlets are fed by numerous popular culture factories owned and controlled by them and their offsprings- sports industrial complex, music industrial complex, movie industrial complex, fashion industrial complex, religion industrial complex and political industrial complex.

My friend, don’t believe them. You’re entitled to learn, you’re entitled to know. Knowledge is the spirit and language of ages. It is the only true road to freedom. Our ancestors have brought ends to similar control and manipulative schemes each time they had enough of the oppression. We can do same, just by acquiring knowledge, taking our destinies in our hands and placing our efforts on endeavors that matter.

You must de-clutter your mind of those vainglorious imaginations of neverland. They are colorful arrows aimed as your soul. Those breathing strings that control your ten fingers also have the resource to build your future.

Neither nature nor artifice have found a substitute for smart hard-work. Don’t be deceived. No true wealth is sudden. No sudden riches endure.

Read dear friend, read. If you want to be truly free, read much. In reading, you’ll discover the manual of life and secrets of ages.

If you read, starting from newspapers, you’ll see pictures of supposed enemies you fight each other over, embracing one another passionately at their kids wedding ceremonies.

If you read history, you’ll learn that their fathers were probably associates in similar enterprises of deceit and control. You’ll learn of the foundations of their dynasties.

If you read the thoughts of GOD and man, you’ll discover that your life can be built without the pittance promised by politicians. You’ll find the truth in the words of Einstein about Newton, that nature is an open book, whose letters could be read without effort. You’ll discover inexhaustible wealth and riches buried in your mind, in your arms, in the open fields at your backyard, in the daily challenges and drudgery of your compatriots, in the needless pains and sweat of fellow men, in the air around us, in the waste we sidestep, in the emotions we waste, in the megabytes we squander.

We can politic without bitterness. We can exchange ideas without hurting each other. Why fight to death when we can learn to live?
