The American summer sun is shining which can mean only one thing when it comes to motocross... It's time to water the tracks as the outdoor season is here!

So first up let's take a look at the lites category, the 250 MX class. There are a lot of riders out this year, which while that is always a bad thing, it leaves room for the rookies and privateers to make a name for themselves. There is still a ton of talent in this class so don't be fooled into thinking this will be anything other than spectacular to watch. Osborne is looking to become the first rider in 125/250 history to win 4 back to back titles in the lites class. Plessenger and Martin will be on the hunt to make sure this does not happen as will a host of other stars such as Forkner, McElrath, Savatgy and many more :) check it out.

So next up we have the main 450 MX class and unfortunately we now know that it will not feature Dean Wilson steemit | busy. There will be however a ton of the fastest guys in the US battling it out to try and un throne the current Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Champion Eli Tomac. Musquin was close behind him last season and without his Thumb injury the title was looking to be claimed by Blake Bagget. Throw the new Monster Energy Supercross Champion Jason Anderson into the mix and we have some serious heat up front. The talent list does not stop there either... it's gonna be AMAZING :)

Hello there @b0y2k how dangerous are these motocross events? Even though they pads and helmets I think it wouldn't be enough protection if they made a bad turn at a high speed.

All motorsports are dangerous to an extent @harlot. Motocross riders wear, helmets, goggles, gloves, body armor, knee braces, wrist braces, neck braces, boots and pads :)

I see. Because I have watched several clips of this kinds of races where even one rider will make a mistake which will start a chain reaction of bumps and crashes which a lot of riders will hit each other. The same thing you will see on NASCAR and Rally races. Only this one the racer is most expose on impact unlike being inside a car.
