If you guys remember the first turn crash in the 250 MX Class at round seven of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series at Redbud you will remember R J Hampshire took a complete battering! The video pretty much tells the story and man that was a massive slam... Check the video out!

The rider has posted an update on instagram showing that he has had some fluid drained from his back and i can't say it looks very comfortable.

He is going to put himself back on the start line though this weekend and has had the stitches removed from his chin. He has opted to leave the stitches in his knee though and together with having the fluid drained means he should be ok to line up.

"My lower back was swollen all last week from that first turn crash. Saturday I realized there was more then just swelling. Glad we were able to get this drained and release the pressure/pain in my back 👍🏼👍🏼"

Now if anyone tells you that motocross riders are not the toughest on the planet you know they are talking crap! :)
