AND NOW YOU RETURN

To the crowds, to the tracks, and to the winds,
But as they did before the fall, before Anaheim

At the mid-air poise of your unequaled springs,
Will the winds again hush in sync with the crowds?

At the gauge of your highest speeds
Will the twisty paths again hearken to your bidding?

At the steeply inclines of your gallop,
Will the wheels, as before, again hold steady?

O’ Ken Roczen,
You who would know beauty in motion
Who would keep wheel and will in sync,
Should already know the answers!

And we, who would follow you then,
We who would trust you then,
Should know you will again be to us,
What you were then: Our Roc
