Yeah man, I do realize the dangers and I wear complete gear when I ride now. This was the reckless me three years ago and I've learned from quite some falls.

A friend of mine has not worked for over a year now and will never be the same after a old man pulled out in front of him. So always prepare for someone to pull out like that bus.

Glad you learn :) my friend is lucky to be alive and suprisingly was only traveling 40km per hour. He has permanent fused wrist and knee. Lots of pain for the rest of his life with permanent arthritis and lost joint mobility. Nevertheless he was lucky, his heart was also torn and lucky to survive. I guess you could say he wasn't a great rider as he did not buffer but at the same time was unlucky.
