War is horrible. This film is almost 3-hours and explores what PTSD will do to a man.
This film follows the life of a soldier who returns from Iraq and commits an atrocity. It's extremely dark, and the characters are well developed.
At almost 3-hours, this film explores the depravity of the human spirit. I found it hard to feel sorry for the character who committed the atrocities, but it goes to show how bad life can get. I recommend that you watch Badland- knowing it's incredibly dark and you need to be prepared.
