Wonder Woman: Do Men Like Strong Women? 

   Have you seen this movie yet? I've seen it twice! It's that good. The first movie of a female superhero in the DC Comics series, distributed by Warner Bros. Directed by Patty Jenkins, a woman. WB was surprised by the success of WW. They didn't sign Patty up for a sequel so Patty could write her own paycheck! 

   The tremendous success of Wonder Woman brought up some interesting  questions. Gal Gadot played Princess Diana of Themyscira. She has a kind  heart and feels other people's pain deeply, especially that of women  and children in distress. 

    Then there is the Goddess, Superhero, part of her. The kick ass part!  The fighting scenes are exciting! Gal Gadot had to train for six months  to be able to perform those powerful moves with grace. 

   Women everywhere love this new Wonder Woman! Its success was driven by older (over 50) and female audience. Why over 50? See below. 

 Gal Gadot (@gal_gadot) has over 8 million fans on Instagram. WW was a True Social and Box Office Wonder! 

 Why Do Women Love Wonder Woman? Here are some of the reasons:  

1. Power: It's finally OK for women to acknowledge their (personal) power and to embrace it.  Being a strong woman is something to be proud of. Women could support  each other to be strong. Men could help by adding their support to the  (strong) women in their lives.
2. Respect: Being strong doesn't mean forcing your  will on other people or that it's a blank check for being a bully.  People follow a strong woman because they like and respect her.
3. Confidence: WW is a strong woman, confident in her own powers and abilities. In the movie, we can see how her confidence grows.
4. Leadership: In the No Man's Land scene, WW got fed  up of the soldiers' lack of progress and decided enough was enough! She  shed her disguise & climbed up the ladder into the danger  zone. Steve told her it was impossible, they had been stuck there for  months!
5. Love: WW is a strong woman. She met her match in  Steve Trevor, American pilot & intelligence agent. She believes in  love. The scene where she had some final moments with Steve will tug at  your heart strings. It's better to love and to lose (them) than never to  love at all.
6. Vulnerability: WW doesn't always get it right. She  had the right intention to save the people of Veld but they were killed  by the poison gas. Does it mean that you should stop doing good wherever you can? No. The hours and days that they were free of the tyranny of the Nazis, were priceless to them.
7. Gorgeous & Sexy: WW played by Gal Gadot brought back that sexy goddess power! Yay!

Do Men Actually Like Strong Women? 

I believe that the answer is yes! I saw many men at the movie. Some of them came on their own or with another male friend. Some came with their partners or girlfriends. I spoke to some men about WW. 

They said that they love strong women! They respect their courage & strength. 

  Weak & docile women turn them off.  

It takes a strong man himself to appreciate a strong & confident woman.  

   A strong woman is attractive, especially if she is intelligent as  well as beautiful. It's not necessary for a strong woman to be as beautiful as Gal Gadot. She must possess an inner beauty that shines  forth and touches everyone that she meets. Do you know any women like that? Perhaps it's your mom... or wife or GF... PS. Did you see Wonder Woman's AWESOME boots? Guys, you can roll your eyes! Women and their shoes!
