Who am I?

Hello Ateazi here, I am a health enthusiast as well as an avid gamer from time to time, today my girlfriend and I decided we want to go see a movie. We decided on seeing Baby Driver, got our popcorn, soda, and tickets. We picked our seat and waited for the action to start. Let's dive in and see if you should go watch Baby Driver.

What is Baby Driver?

Baby Driver is a movie about a talented getaway driver named Baby, who relies on his music to keep him focused while on the job. After meeting a young woman at a local diner, which turns out to be the woman of his dreams, he suddenly sees no reason to stay in the criminal driving scene, and wishes to leave. However, this might not be as easy as he would think, after being forced into working for a criminal mastermind, he must continue driving or risk the lives of the ones he loves.

In the Movie

We have taken our seats, everything ready to go, drink in between us, munching on popcorn. Twenty minutes of previews later, it begins, a team of criminals setting up for a heist, Baby behind the wheel jamming out to his music. The anticipation through the roof. The heist is pulled off without a hitch giving a taste of the action we are in for.

Baby Driver is a good criminal action, however this movie has a romantic twist. I was not thinking this movie was going to have as much romance as it had. The previews did not show much of a romantic side, they showed primarily the side of robbing and driving. Due to that, I was a bit confused and not as thrilled with this movie as I would have been if it were just a run-n-gun style movie which was being broadcasted from the trailers.

This movie started solely on the criminal side, but towards the middle of the movie, and ending, it became more centered around the romantic theme of Baby and Debora, his dream girl. However, this movie was still action-packed and criminally driven, keeping you on the edge of your seat. It did have some "I know what is going to happen" moments in the movie, it was so blatant that a child could have guessed what was going to occur.

Conclusion

Baby Driver was a solid action-packed thriller, centered on the love story of Baby and Debora. It was an entertaining film, if you are looking for a movie to watch that is out now, this would be my recommendation.

Thank you, thank you, I did like the movie. However, the reason I gave it a 6.5/10 is because the story wasn't what they were portraying in the trailers.

It was more of a love story at the end more than a criminal, run-n-gun, shoot-em up. Which is what I thought I was going to see, but in my opinion a 6.5 isn't bad, a 5 and under is when it starts getting bad.
