The biggest mistake was this franchise ever being sold to Disney. This was bound to happen the moment Lucas gave it over. He is the creative genius of this franchise and he basically sent it off to its demise. I can't believe he did it, to be honest.

    The prequels weren't good. Rogue one is one of the better Star Wars movies. TFA made over 2 billion, TLJ made 1.3 million. People freaked out and boycotted for some reason (bunch of pansies) and now they're making it seem that Solo is the worst movie to ever be put in theaters. The franchise is far from demise. Their streaming service comes out in 2019 so expect more Star Wars content, already multiple series lined up.
