Your review is the first that I am hearing of this movie, and just by the title, the cover, and your remark about "ridiculousness" lead me to believe this movie is ridiculous, lol. It does look like it would have great action and FX though. :P

I guess a 7. It's got some top notch actors in it, but the main character is a fairly new face. He's competent and entertaining, and most of the movie is about building the depth of his character, but having a supporting cast like Kevin Spacey, Jon Hamm, and Jamie Foxx to compete with kind of weakens his possibly breakout role.
