Movie Pass Peak Pricing is Implemented and How it Works

What it is

Peak Pricing will go into effect when there is high demand for a movie or a show time. An additional fee will be added to the price of the ticket. MoviePass has said that they will implement a feature to waive the fee one time per month in the future.

Red Icon

This indicates that that screening has Peak Pricing

Grey Icon

This indicates that there is no Peak Pricing but demand is increasing and it could enter Peak Pricing soon.

What happens when you select a Peak Priced movie

After you check into the movie the credit card on file will be charged the fee that is listed in the app. The charge varies based on the movie and screening time.
