Locke (2013)

I saw this amazing movie a few years ago and I couldn't believe there isn't a meme or a picture quote of Ivan Locke (Tom Hardy) saying:

"- What's the next practical step?!... "

or somewhere between those words...

I searched google for it but I couldn't find anything so I decided to make one here so it is recorded in the blockchain forever

In case you didn't see the movie I highly recommend it especially if you like real life stories and less special effects, as I recall, there were none whatsoever or at least that what I remember, a pretty much down to earth movie with emphasize on the story as it should always be

Ivan Locke, an engineer that makes a sudden decision to leave while in the middle of an enormous construction project and that's all i will say in order to not spoil it for you that will watch it as for those who already did then you already know, cheers!

Torn apart between two worlds he tries to keep a cool head in the most nerve wrecking of situations...

It is hard...

and a roller coaster of emotions

But he must find a way to make sense of his life...

All in all it show down to a man looking at himself in the mirror, trying to make a change...

I saw this movie by accident... I can't remember... but what I do remember is that I could have easily walked away from it has it not been for the incredible resembling with James Remar

I mean I watched the movie until the end questioning if he was him and that's how I got into the movie lol
I used to think how he aged gracefully but then I would have doubts and say that is impossible ... So I watched this movie for all the wrong reasons but then I am glad I did...by half the way I already was into knowing what is it that made an engineer leave his work...I can relate to that as my father is an engineer and he doesn't take no mess anytime, anywhere in his work, believe me you don't want to be a second late working with him so in a way I was also curious for what the consequences will be on his career but at the same time I was admiring him for his courage and the way he handled himself all the way through it just like an engineer would, with his cool head and logical thinking solving any problem by asking himself and the ones around him with the infamous question in the movie...

"- What's the next practical step?!... "

So to all of you that are taking decisions to start off 2018, I wish you all the best!! Just keep calm and go "Ivan Locke" style

:D

In case I miss it ...

Happy 2018 to you and yours and may it makes all the wishes true and more
