A bit too many similarities between Trump and Nixon for my taste, but that is obviously Steven Spielberg's point.

When I was a teenager I was sceptic about all things seventies, but this song made me realise that Stevie Wonder was dope anyway! It is about Nixon, (with big brother on the B-side! which is also interesting)

I expect the movie was planned before Trump, but you can't help seeing the similarities. Stevie Wonder is a genius

And yes, he is a genius. I guess that young people are so busy being grown ups that they adopt quite a lot of rigid, pre-defined opinions. A friend of my parents gave me a record with a girl in a bikini as a joke present from a large LP-collection he had bought - it was a Motown compilation and the song was on that... and then music trumped prejudice.

I really enjoyed your post about the Washington post! Ha I was like you in rhe sense that I wasnt aware of the part the media played during the time of the vietnam war so it was very interesting to be informed of true events.

It was mind blowing to see how much infomation the government was hiding and how the government was simply unable to admit defeat out of sheer pride. In my opinion, the government was an absolute disgrace and I'm glad the media acted in the right way and carried out their purpose to inform the public of this injustice.

I am looking forward to reading your future posts.

This is exactly what journalists should be doing and some still do it. It's also why politicians fear the press and try to pretend it's 'fake'.

I know it can difficult for a journalist to share the truth about a situation as it can lead them to feeling vulnerable and at times, in fear of their safety.

For example, I don't know if you have watched the documentary on a journalist called Veronica Gearon who exposed some gangland crimes that were ongoing in Ireland,she continued to write articles about the crimes that were commited despite recieving death threaths. Sadly, her passion for speaking out led to her death.

Revealing the truth can have its consequences but it always the moral thing to do and people like Veronica will be loved and admired by everyone.
