In a world of distant future's past,
Where ruthless greed does surely last,
A tale unfolds on Higgins' Moon,
Where labor's chains do cruelly shone.
The mud farmers toil, trapped in despair,
Indentured servants, without a care,
Magistrate Higgins, iron-fisted reign,
Leaves hopelessness in his wake, like pain.
Captain Mal and crew, with goals in sight,
Venture into this desolate night,
Inara seeks a personal quest,
While Jayne, with past, must now digest.
Canton town, with secrets to keep,
Holds a surprise for Jayne to reap,
A statue, songs, and adoration,
For a hero's deeds, though unintended station.
Jaynestown, a tale of ironic twist,
Shows how progress can still miss the list,
Of progress, freedom, and human grace,
In a society's dark, oppressive place.
Adam Baldwin shines, in a role so true,
Jayne, the flawed hero, with actions anew,
A mix of action, humor, and thought,
Makes this episode, a must-be-seen lot.
Though subplots may falter, lose their way,
Jaynestown's main plot, does not decay,
A gripping tale, with themes so bold,
Firefly fans and newcomers, should behold.
