Puss in Boots is back!
Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. This inspiring animated film is deeper and better than the first movie. I love cats, so I'm happy that the cat from the Shrek movie is getting his own movie. However, the film has too many characters, which hinders the development of the main character.
What I like most about this movie is that the story is very interesting. The animation style is also spectacular. I can say that this is one of the best-animated films of 2022. Compared to the first film, the sequel animation is more life-like in both visual effects and story. The whole story is interesting and unique.
The theme of the film is brilliant, Puss in Boots fighting death and what to do with what little life he has left. Some of the characters in the film reflect on their lives. The hero also realizes that he is not alone and that he does not have to bear everything alone. It's a good lesson for a lot of people, isn't it? Many of us, like the protagonist, think we are lonely.
Unfortunately, the film is overly focused on cinematic adventure. The character development in the movie is not perfect, which makes the movie seem too rushed. Beyond that, there are so many characters competing for the audience's attention that it makes the main character and his journey less important. The anime packed too many fairy tales into one story, and the result was bloated and messy, with too many unnecessary subplots. More importantly, the villain of the movie is forgettable.
Puss in Boots: Last Wish is a movie worth watching. The script wasn't perfect, but it was interesting. The adventure in it, it can be very exciting. It's a great movie, especially for children.
