Universal dead man - "Swiss Army Man" by Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert

I have very strange relations with art-house movies. Some films related to this genre I do not like at all because of the depth of the semantic load buried in the film-wrapper, biblical allusions or other abstruse things, and some make a strong impression and I am ready to review them several times. It is to the second category that I refer to the film "Swiss Army Man </ b>, directed by young directors Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, and I consider one of the best works about friendship, love, fear of loneliness and desire for fortunately.

Hank (Paul Dano) was on an uninhabited island, wild, overgrown and driven to utter despair was already ready to take his life, when suddenly he had a new friend. Well, how to say a friend ... Dead guy Manny (Daniel Radcliffe), which gurgles, lets out gases, as well as it is necessary the corpse slightly decomposes, but thus gradually comes to life and becomes for Hank the excellent interlocutor, comrade and even the savior.

As with the "Scott Pilgrim" with this film, my friends divided into two camps. Some of whom are totally ecstatic about this black comedy, and the latter are completely perplexed. Some even saw a homosexual overtone in this story, but to live with their homophobia and judge for this, I probably will not become anyone, since I was absolutely struck by everything in this film - from the plot, which otherwise can not be called a hooligan trick, excellent dialogues and the soundtrack before (traditionally) the outrageous actor's game of Dano, who, following the line, continues to play cute ruffles, with a hundred or two cockroaches in his head.

Manny, if you have not looked at the "Jurassic Park", then you are hopeless ...

But that's not the point. Despite the strange humor and absurd plot "Swiss Army Man" is difficult to perceive as a movie - it is rather the most saturated emotional attraction in which the pretty turns into a nasty, beautiful in a terrible, funny in a sad, tension is replaced by an exhalation of relief only to then dip spectator in a sad whirlpool and then cheer up the rectilinear, gassing corpse of Harry Potter. I can not imagine how the filmmakers achieved this effect, but I had not experienced a more complex bouquet of emotions before this film and I hope that there are those who share my point of view on the Steemit.
