The Suicide Squad – Full Cast Reveal

The Suicide Squad is starting to shape up and it is looking pretty awesome.

Director James Gunn released an image including the entire cast and some of these name are a pretty awesome surprise.

First of all, here is the image:

Now let's talk about some of the cast.

There are some character that are returning from the previous movie. It is no surprise to see Margot Robbie reprising her role as Harley Quinn. She was the most popular character in the previous movie. Jai Courtney, whom people surprisingly really liked in the previous movie is also returning as Captain Boomerang. Viola Davis will become the heartless Amanda Waller once again. And Joel Kinnaman which no one liked or remembered, will return as Rick Flag.

There are also some interesting new additions. For example Idris Elba is joining the movie and not as a Will Smith replacement as was previously suspected. I really like him as an actor, but he never seems to catch break, maybe this will be it. An addition that totally surprised me was Taika Waititi. Yes, the talented Thor: Ragnarök director will star as an actor in a DC movie. Before he returns to Marvel to direct Thor: Love and Thunder. Another actor coming from Marvel is Michael Rooker, which we all loved as Yondu in Guardians of the Galaxy. Like most actors, we don't know who he will be playing.

Other interesting additions including Nathan Fillion who has been dying to make the move from television into the big screen. Now is his chance. He has a lot of fans especially from Firefly who will probably be really happy to see him on the big screen. Another TV actor making the jump is Peter Capaldi who is mostly known as the Twelfth Dr. Who. Although it seems that not so many people liked his doctor. Comedian Pete Davidson from Saturday Night Live will also join the cast to bring in some really talented humor casting. And John Cena who is slowly building himself a career in Hollywood will also join the cast. We do know that he will be playing the Peacemaker.

On the Mah list we have: David Dastmalchian who will play Polka-Dot Man. I have seen movies that he is in, but I have no memory of him so that's not a good sign. Steve Agee will voice King Shark. I wonder how bad it will look. And the unknown Daniela Melchior will play Ratcatcher.

Also unsurprisingly, James Gunn has brought his brother Sean Gunn to act in the movie. Which is alright as he is pretty good actor and he does the motion capture for Rocket Raccoon in Marvel movies. Maybe he will do the motion caption for King Shark.

There are plenty of other actors on the list which I don't recognize. But not all of them will be on the Squad. Someone has to be the bad – really bad – worse – people. So we don't know which is which yet. Many actors, mostly the unfamiliar once will be sacrificed on the shrine of "suicide" name part of the movie. Meaning – a lot of character will die. Hopefully, as they should in a movie called The Suicide Squad.

I hope that this movie will be a fun, wild, violent ride and not similar to Guardians of the Galaxy and way better than the previous The Suicide Squad. We shall see.
