I was more then disappointed when Germany legalised male genital mutation of infants a few years ago. After the court of cologne ruled it illegal under the current law — it was always illegal just that no took a case to court before.
6 Month later the German government added special provision into law to explicitly allow genital mutilation of male infants. In the first 7 days even without a medical practitioner. That was very disappointing for me.
As such this is a ray of light that Denmark did the right thing.
