In her latest instalment of the Negative Sum Game Alison Tieman's (@Typhonblue) describes how the Kartment Drama Triangle applies to social justice in general and feminism in particular. With the twist that the hero from yesterday becomes villain of tomorrow. Because once a villain is defeated you need a new one villain. And since there is no constant source of villains any more we need to take new villains from the pool of heroes.
This dynamic is quite similar to the european witch hunts. Calling #MeToo an witch hunt is very much justified.
But Alison does not call it witch hunt. She calls it the misery machine and it's every bit as much fun as it sound.
But you don't have to be part of the misery machine. There is a way out.
I links added all four parts to the post for your binge watching pleasure.
Why meet ups are essential
- “Amsterdam meet up Wednesday, July 18th, 2 PM at the entrance to the Westergas Fabriek.”

How Men's rights is a dead end and what to do about it
In her third part Alison Tieman's (@Typhonblue) talks the marketing of disruptive products and how they are marketed while applying this mens rights as a new disruptive process.
“If a social ill is seen to affect women, we care. If it’s seen to affect women because they’re women, we would care even more. But if it’s seen to affect women and men we stop caring about all victims of the social ill entirely. That’s the negative sum game and it plagues not only men’s rights but all efforts to solve the problems facing humanity.”
How men's issues show men's strength
The negative sum game is Alison Tieman's (@Typhonblue) conjecture on charity and donations where male and gender neutral issues are involved. Her conjecture is that you get less or even no support for gender neutral issues and hence feminism tries to artificially gender issues, making them women only, even when men are affected just as much, in order to get more charity donations.
“What if men are doing mental health just fine and don't need feminists to fix them? How feminist men's mental health initiatives are toxic charity and what to do about it. ”
How disruptive is men’s rights?
“Crossing the chasm, addressing criticism and why conferences are critical.”
