Non-communicable diseases

According to the WHO, non-communicable diseases cause 41 million deaths each year, equivalent to 74 percent of all global deaths.

Non-communicable diseases are health conditions that cannot spread from one person to another as they are non-infectious. However, these diseases last for a longer period and hence are also called chronic diseases.
