Just checked my inbox and MTurk sent me a rejection letter earlier today. How unfortunate. I was looking forward to doing the tasks and earning some extra money to buy crypto with.
Of course the other question is, 'why'? Amazon don't provide a satisfactory for why they rejected my application other than i didn't meet some 'propietary' criteria. So i dug deeper.
For anyone looking to apply to mturk in the future, it looks like credit score is a very important criteria in their background check. This has a few implications. Firstly, it's easier to get credit scores for US applicants. Secondly, if you move countries, then you won't have a credit score straight-away. Which is what probably did me in.
