It was evening when i noticed above the counter where plates and utensils where stored. Huh! Mugs! Spongebob? Saudi? In general those were used by my father who used to work abroad the country he was in for that time was Saudi-arabia. I was most enticed by the spongebob mug.
Anyway for the culture part. Mugs are a heavily modernized culture of pottery however designing and putting context on (clay/marble) mugs,pots,etc are already common during the ancient times some style such as |Kerch Style| dates back to the early roman era where pottery artist generally place markings indicating where the vase/post originated from.
