A piece of music can make us feel a whole spectrum of emotions just from the voice. It can help us process our emotions and affect our mood, for me all music is spiritual.
The idea of this post is I will share a piece of music that has inspired me and given me a big emotional impact and in the comments you can also share the music you heard recently that gives you the 'feels' and a few reasons why and how it connects to your journey. Hopefuly we will all find great new music together and things we wouldn't have listened to without this blog.
Today I am sharing an oldie but goodie Another Chance by Roger Sanchez. I remember this coming out and being obsessed with it but then I havn't heard it in years. I actually feel subconciously it was the inspiration behind my painting
'I could be the one'.
This painting represents a girl who is carrying her heart around in her hand, hoping someone will love her and take her heart and keep it safe, rather than realising her soulmate is already within her.

I love the music video that goes with this song, it somehow expresses so many emotions without emotion by playing out the emotion through the huge heart she is carrying around and not in her facial expressions. For me this video represents the girl who is boosted by the love of men but because she is seeking it from them and not finding it in herself it leaves her depleted time and time again and having to start over to rebuild her esteem and her heart from the love of others.
